Our conventional braces are made of top-grade stainless steel archwires and brackets that are strategically placed to give you the stunning smile you desire. They're an ideal treatment for patients who have jaw alignment problems, crowded or gapped teeth, an underbite or overbite, or protruding teeth. Additionally, we use high-quality elastics that don't readily snap and are easy to apply. After your initial examination, a personalized treatment program will be created by Dr. Shardha for your particular case. When you return to get your braces, your teeth will be properly prepped and cleaned before applying your metal braces. After we have applied the bonding agent to your teeth, your metal mounts will be placed. Once all the braces are on, Dr. Shardha will thread the wire through them. Then you can choose your desired band color(s), which will keep the archwires attached to the braces. The application process generally moves quite fast, and patients often experience little to no discomfort. You should expect to come back to our office once a month to get adjustments and progress exams.
